A Secret Chord 12" x 5" x 5" (plaster, wood, audio components, electronics, and mixed media)

Part of an ongoing series exploring the acoustics of enclosed spaces. The simple exterior conceals an invisible labyrinth with hidden chambers, permanently hidden from sight. The sound emanating from inside, which is based on heavily processed snippets of Jeff Buckley's cover of Leonard Cohen's song 'Hallelujah', reinforce the enigma of the interior as it hints at choirs and ensembles inside a large hall or cathedral.
